Istanbul & Cappadocia Tour Overview
This 5-day dual-destination journey offers a perfect introduction to Turkey’s most iconic landscapes, from the vibrant waterways of Istanbul to the “lunar landscapes” of Cappadocia. Guests will stay at the Tryp by Wyndham Beyoglu Hotel in Istanbul and the unique Alfa Cave Hotel in Cappadocia, experiencing a mix of private transfers and guided group tours. From dining on a Bosphorus cruise to exploring ancient monasteries carved into fairy chimneys, this itinerary is designed to showcase the diverse historical and natural wonders of Turkey.
DAY 1 - ARRIVAL & BOSPHOROUS CRUISE WITH DINNER
- Private Arrival: Upon landing, a private car awaits to whisk guests directly to their hotel, avoiding the stress of public transport or taxis
- Bosphorus Dinner Cruise: Your evening begins with a pick-up (approx. 19:30 – 20:00 pm) for a scenic cruise. Enjoy a dinner with unlimited soft drinks while being entertained by a belly dancer, DJ music, and a traditional folklore show.

DAY 2 - ISLAND TRANQUILITY AND ARTISAN CRAFTS
- Princess Island Escape: After breakfast, embark on a guided boat journey to Büyükada, the largest of the Prince Islands. Experience a “fairy-tale-like world” free from motorized vehicles.
Island Exploration: Enjoy two hours of free time to rent a bicycle, take a relaxing walk, or swim in the summer.
Lunch on Board: A delicious lunch is served on the boat before heading to the charming Kınalıada for an hour of exploration
- Surprise Stop: Before returning, visit a local leather store for a brief fashion show and a chance to see handmade Turkish leather goods.
- Overnight: Istanbul.
DAY 3 - JOURNEY TO THE LAND OF FAIRY CHIMNEYS
- Transit to Cappadocia: After breakfast, take a private transfer to the airport for your flight to Kayseri. Upon arrival, a private car will whisk you to your hotel in Cappadocia.
- Settle into the Caves: Enjoy free time to settle into your cave hotel and explore the unique surrounding terrain.
- Overnight: Cappadocia.
DAY 4 - ANCIENT VALLEYS AND VOLCANIC LANDSCAPES
- Optional Sunrise: Start the day with an optional Hot Air Balloon flight (at an extra cost) for a bird’s-eye view of the valleys.
- Cappadocia Red Tour: Explore Pigeon Valley and take photos at the majestic Uçhisar Castle. Visit the Göreme Panorama for breathtaking views of the rock formations.
- Cultural Workshops: Visit an Onyx Workshop to learn about volcanic stone jewelry and a pottery workshop in Avanos to witness Hittite-period techniques.
- Historical Sites: Discover the 10th-century churches and monasteries of the Paşabağ (Zelve) Open Air Museum and the “lunar landscape” of Devrent Valley.
- Overnight: Cappadocia.
DAY 5 - DEPARTURE
- Final Morning: Enjoy a final breakfast at your hotel before your private transfer to the airport for your departure flight
